The Harmony DAC benefits from an R2R digital/analogue conversion stage. This advanced audio technology is based on a ladder network of individual resistors arranged with a tolerance of 0.05% to achieve superior sound quality. With its emphasis on precision and quality, this technology enables clear and accurate sound reproduction, delivering an immersive listening experience with exceptional detail and fidelity.
Laiv DAC Harmony : Top-quality components
The Harmony DAC incorporates first-class components to support its R2R conversion. The internal clock is handled by a Crystek CCHD-957 oscillator, offering incredibly low phase noise of just -100dBc/Hz. The power supply for the various modules is delegated to Audio Note Kaisei and Rubycon ZLH capacitors, eliminating any impact that the electrical supply might have on sound reproduction. These high-end components are carefully integrated into every vital part of the Harmony DAC, guaranteeing superior performance and exceptional audio quality. Expect an immersive listening experience, rich in clarity and precision.
Laiv DAC Harmony : Flexible and easy-to-use
The Harmony DAC is designed to be as easy to use and flexible as possible. In fact, during its design, particular attention was paid to the user experience. All useful information is permanently visible on the device's OLED screen, furthermore, the dials are positioned in such a way that you won't accidentally push your DAC while using it. The same care has been taken with the remote control, which has the dual advantage of having fully customisable buttons and being able to control two devices simultaneously by flicking a simple switch. Finally, if you wish for the Harmony DAC to be synchronised with an external clock, this is perfectly possible thanks to the I2S input.
