With our loudspeaker Smart Chrono SL 8 you get a premium product – without ifs and buts. To ensure that music playback is of the highest quality, we rely on wireless signal transmission with 24-bit signal processing between the speakers. The fully active floor-standing loudspeakers are equipped with powerful amplifiers that provide each Smart Chrono SL 8 with up to 350 watts of power. This means that no external power amplifiers or speaker cables are required. Simply place it in the desired location, connect it to the power supply, plug in a player and off you go with the enjoyment in your home.

Our Smart Chrono SL 8 makes it easy for you: You can connect whatever your HiFi heart desires to the numerous inputs. Analogue connections are available in XLR and Cinch versions, as well as digital versions in optical and coaxial design, the USB input with XMOS and the possibility of connecting sources wirelessly via Bluetooth. With additional Smart speakers from Canton, you can expand your Smart Chrono SL 8 as you wish and conjure up a powerful home cinema set in single-room mode or integrate it into a multi-room system as an excellent sounding member.

The Smart Chrono SL 8 not only impresses with its neat appearance, it also delivers excellent sound performance in all situations. This is ensured by the precisely tuned Class D amplifiers with 350 watts of power per speaker, the two long-throw woofers with 160 mm double-cone titanium cones, the 160 mm mid-range specialist with wave surround and the fine-resolution tweeter with 25 mm aluminium oxyceramic. This quartet of loudspeakers operates in a very solidly constructed cabinet with internal bracing and strategically placed damping material, which ensures optimal resonance.
Highlights of the Smart Chrono SL 8
Each loudspeaker has 350 watts of power amplifier output from modern Class D amplifiers. In the low and mid-range, the slim bass-reflex floor-standing loudspeakers are equipped with the technically and acoustically excellent titanium membranes. At their side is our highly acclaimed 25 mm tweeter with ceramic dome tweeter and powerful drive unit, which has excellent radiation characteristics due to its transmission front plate. The screwless Diamond-Cut aluminium rings not only provide a visual highlight, but also increase the stability of the tweeter, midrange and bass drivers. The modern base construction with elaborately crafted spacers in cone shape and downfire bass reflex port, together with the double-cone bass drivers with continuous diaphragm surface, ensures a modern, tidy look. The Smart Chrono SL 8 is given the final visual polish by the white or black lacquered cases in a silk matt finish.

You can use the Smart Chrono SL 8 as a stereo speaker in the classic manner and combine it with other speakers from the Canton Smart family as you wish. In the twinkling of an eye, you can create a 4.0 home cinema system that requires no wiring. The center channel is created virtually, with precise dialogue reproduction and the best speech intelligibility from the mid-range. Canton’s stiff Titanium Double Cone diaphragms not only ensure a tidy appearance, they also guarantee dynamic bass reproduction with the highest precision and the best timing. With the Smart Connect 5.1, you can expand your system almost at will: turn your Smart Chrono SL 8 into the main speaker of a multi-channel surround system and supplement it with additional speakers from our Smart series up to a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system.

Explicatii in ceea ce priveste rodajul echipamentelor, cat si al cablurilor, asezarea optima a echipamentelor in camera de auditie, importanta acusticii camerei si nu in ultimul rand sistemul de alimentare a intregului echipament:
PENTRU BOXE:
- Pentru performante optime este necesara pozitionarea boxelor la o distanta de minim 30-40cm de peretele din spate pentru boxele cu bass-reflex in spate, pentru cele cu bass-reflex in fata, recomandam pozitionarea la o distanta de 10-20cm fata de peretele din spate, dar totodata la o distanta de cel putin 50cm fata de peretii laterali. Tineti cont de faptul ca orice piesa de mobilier din incapere, joaca rol de absorbtie fonica, dar si de difuzie fonica daca acestea din urma sunt din materiale ceramica sau oglinzi, geamuri sau alt material reflectorizant. - Boxele vor ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa minim 50 de ore (ideal 100 ore) de functionare la volum mediu. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj a boxelor”, sunetul va fi la inceput mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce boxele vor functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate. Exista boxe care necesita un „rodaj” mai amplu de minim 300 de ore mai ales in cazul celor care au difuzoare de kevlar, carbon sau alte materiale de acest tip. Boxele care se „rodeaza” cel mai repede sunt cele care au difuzoare de celuloza.

- Pentru performante optime este necesar „rodarea” echipamentului, In functie de complexitatea componentelor din aparatul dumneavoastra acesta poate dura intre 30-200 ore.
- Rodajul se face la volum minim, fiind astfel suficient faptul ca acesta este alimentat corect conform manualului de utilizare la 220-230 Volti si trece semnal audio sau video dupa caz prin el.
- Echipamentul supus „rodajului” va ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa perioada mai sus mentionata. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj”, sunetul va fi la inceput ceva mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce echipamentul va functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate.
- In ceea ce priveste echipamentul video precum videoproiector, TV, media player, blueray player, necesita un "rodaj" de cel putin 50 de ore. Lipsa acestuia nu va poate oferi maxim de performanta. "Rodajul" se efectueaza prin simpla utilizare a acestuia, intr-un mod conform specificatiilor mentionate de producator.

- Pentru performante optime este necesara „rodarea” cablurilor, In functie de complexitatea conductorului folosit, cat si geometriei acestuia, „rodajul” poate dura intre 30-100 ore.
