The Reference 1 K – the current flagship of our Reference K family! The best speaker we have ever built – we are mighty proud of that. With this imposing and at the same time noble floorstanding speaker you make a statement in your home. Your performance is as serene as it is self-confident in all nuances of sound and at all levels. In order to meet even the most extreme dynamic demands, the 3-way bass reflex speaker is equipped with our best drivers: the powerful 308 mm woofers with aluminum-ceramic tungsten cones provide in the double pack for incomparable dynamics with unbridled drive and enormous low frequency response. With the large cabinet volume behind it and the new Bass-Guide bass reflex system, the Reference 1 K delivers truly impressive low-frequency reproduction down to below 20 Hertz. However, thanks to the low-loss wave surrounds that sandwich the midrange and woofer, and the superbly resolving ceramic tweeter, the Reference 1 K shine with excellent fine dynamics even at low volumes. The acoustically optimized cabinets with their characteristic bow shape and organically curved side walls set standards in terms of radiation behavior, stability and low resonance.
Technology at its best
Both technically and structurally, we put an enormous amount of effort into the Reference 1 K. Consequently, the Reference 1 K cannot be shaken by anything and impresses with its enormous weight of 134 kilograms per speaker. In the solid, multi-stiffened cabinets made of multilayer laminate, our best loudspeaker drivers with aluminum-ceramic tungsten and aluminum oxide ceramic cones, heavyweight, sound-optimized crossover components and the highly effective base construction with Bass Guide ensure the highest possible fidelity. The Reference 1 K is equipped with a high-quality biwiring/ biamping connection terminal, allowing the woofer and mid-high range to be driven separately with different amplifiers or with specialized cables. 24 carat gold-plated, stable screw terminals with a capacity for cable cross-sections up to 10 mm2, ensure optimum signal transmission. The levels for the midrange and treble can be finely adjusted at the connection terminal, depending on personal preferences or room acoustic conditions.
Attention to detail
We develop and manufacture the loudspeaker systems of our Reference K Series in our factory in Weilrod in the Taunus region. This is the only way we can maintain the necessary quality standards, minimize tolerances, eliminate any errors, and keep the high sound requirements for our top products. The Reference 1 K cabinets are made of high-quality 50 millimeter multilayer laminate. In an elaborate special process, the characteristic bow shape of the speaker is milled from solid material. The noble, high-gloss surface finish Piano Finish is applied, sanded and elaborately polished in twelve work steps. It gives the Reference 1 K cabinet an overwhelming sense of depth. Acoustically optimized two-piece fabric covers, which are elegantly held in place on the baffle by magnetic fasteners, round off the elegant appearance.

Explicatii in ceea ce priveste rodajul echipamentelor, cat si al cablurilor, asezarea optima a echipamentelor in camera de auditie, importanta acusticii camerei si nu in ultimul rand sistemul de alimentare a intregului echipament:
PENTRU BOXE:
- Pentru performante optime este necesara pozitionarea boxelor la o distanta de minim 30-40cm de peretele din spate pentru boxele cu bass-reflex in spate, pentru cele cu bass-reflex in fata, recomandam pozitionarea la o distanta de 10-20cm fata de peretele din spate, dar totodata la o distanta de cel putin 50cm fata de peretii laterali. Tineti cont de faptul ca orice piesa de mobilier din incapere, joaca rol de absorbtie fonica, dar si de difuzie fonica daca acestea din urma sunt din materiale ceramica sau oglinzi, geamuri sau alt material reflectorizant. - Boxele vor ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa minim 50 de ore (ideal 100 ore) de functionare la volum mediu. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj a boxelor”, sunetul va fi la inceput mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce boxele vor functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate. Exista boxe care necesita un „rodaj” mai amplu de minim 300 de ore mai ales in cazul celor care au difuzoare de kevlar, carbon sau alte materiale de acest tip. Boxele care se „rodeaza” cel mai repede sunt cele care au difuzoare de celuloza.

PENTRU AMPLIFICATOARE, DAC-URI, PREAMPLIFICATOARE, RECEIVER STEREO & HOME CINEMA, SURSE DIGITALE AUDIO-VIDEO:
- Pentru performante optime este necesar „rodarea” echipamentului, In functie de complexitatea componentelor din aparatul dumneavoastra acesta poate dura intre 30-200 ore.
- Rodajul se face la volum minim, fiind astfel suficient faptul ca acesta este alimentat corect conform manualului de utilizare la 220-230 Volti si trece semnal audio sau video dupa caz prin el.
- Echipamentul supus „rodajului” va ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa perioada mai sus mentionata. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj”, sunetul va fi la inceput ceva mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce echipamentul va functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate.
- In ceea ce priveste echipamentul video precum videoproiector, TV, media player, blueray player, necesita un "rodaj" de cel putin 50 de ore. Lipsa acestuia nu va poate oferi maxim de performanta. "Rodajul" se efectueaza prin simpla utilizare a acestuia, intr-un mod conform specificatiilor mentionate de producator.

- Pentru performante optime este necesara „rodarea” cablurilor, In functie de complexitatea conductorului folosit, cat si geometriei acestuia, „rodajul” poate dura intre 30-100 ore.
