The long-awaited new version of the Shanling M6 Walkman, the M6 Ultra, is finally here, bringing not only an upgraded Android platform, but above all marking the return of AKM DACs! Thus, the M6 Ultra is the first DAP of the brand to integrate the latest generation of AKM DACs, with four AK4493SEQ chips within a unique balanced architecture. The amplifier design has been adjusted for this Quad-DAC design, allowing for higher output power.
For the rest, the M6 Ultra adopts the design implemented by Shanling for their digital music players. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor, Android 10 and the Android Global Losless Output (AGLO) technology developed by the brand for optimal performance.
A dazzling screen
First visible element, the magnificent touch screen of the M6 Ultra, a Sharp LCD panel of 5 and a resolution 1920*1080px (Full HD) and a definitio of 441ppi. This one offers a superb rendering of the colors and wide angles of vision, allowing a use as comfortable as pleasant.
Quad-DAC design
The M6 Ultra is the first Shanling notebook to adopt the new generation of AKM DACs, using no less than four AK4493SEQ chips in a unique Quad-DAC design. This design is inspired by Shanling CD players, in particular, with a view to maximizing the potential of the DACs in a balanced circuit. They also support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA files.
OP + BUF Improved architecture
Adopting the brand new Linearin LTA8092 high voltage AOP and the now proven BUF634A buffer, combined with AKM DACs, the Shanling M6 Ultra offers a slightly warmer and smoother reproduction, carrying on the signature sound that has made the brand successful.
OPA1612
The DAC section of the M6 Ultra also embeds four TI OPA1612 AOs, separating the balanced audio signal between the four DACs. This architecture allows for a completely independent balanced output.
OPA2211 Low-pass filter
The low-pass filter of the M6 Ultra uses two TI OPA2211 PDOs, chosen for their low noise and high bandwidth.
KDS Oscillators & 3rd Generation FPGA
Two Japanese KDS active oscillators and Shanling’s improved algorithm enable better accuracy, with greatly reduced jitter and improved performance for digital signal transmission.
A new amplifier for more power
The newly designed amplifier of the M6 Ultra allows it to reach a much higher power than the previous models. It is therefore capable of accompanying a greater number of headphones, including models with a high impedance and therefore more demanding.
Balanced & single-ended outputs
Whether you have headphones or earphones with a 3.5mm or 4.4mm jack, the M6 Ultra will adapt. Indeed, it provides two outputs: the first, balanced, is in 4.4mm jack format and the second, single-ended, in 3.5mm jack format.
An oversized battery
With the M6 Ultra, autonomy is no longer a problem. Its large 5650mAh battery provides 13.5 hours of single-ended playback, 9 hours of balanced playback and 58.5 hours of Bluetooth transmission. Moreover, it integrates the fast charge technology QC3.0 18W.

Easily connect your M6 Ultra to any Bluetooth wireless headphones or speakers and enjoy exceptional sound quality with support for the high-resolution wireless transmission codecs aptX, aptX HD and LDAC. The M6 Ultra can also function as a receiver and thus be connected via Bluetooth to a source.

A fast processor
Inside the M6 Ultra is a powerful eight-core Snapdragon 665 processor associated with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, offering very good computing performance for a smooth and pleasant use of the DAP. It also has 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by using a Micro SD card (not included).

Full MQA support
Working as a total decoder, the M6 Ultra is capable of playing high-quality 16x MQA streams via the Tidal streaming app. Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) technology allows you to enjoy sound reproduction as close as possible to the original studio recording.

Explicatii in ceea ce priveste rodajul echipamentelor, cat si al cablurilor, asezarea optima a echipamentelor in camera de auditie, importanta acusticii camerei si nu in ultimul rand sistemul de alimentare a intregului echipament:
PENTRU BOXE:
- Pentru performante optime este necesara pozitionarea boxelor la o distanta de minim 30-40cm de peretele din spate pentru boxele cu bass-reflex in spate, pentru cele cu bass-reflex in fata, recomandam pozitionarea la o distanta de 10-20cm fata de peretele din spate, dar totodata la o distanta de cel putin 50cm fata de peretii laterali. Tineti cont de faptul ca orice piesa de mobilier din incapere, joaca rol de absorbtie fonica, dar si de difuzie fonica daca acestea din urma sunt din materiale ceramica sau oglinzi, geamuri sau alt material reflectorizant. - Boxele vor ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa minim 50 de ore (ideal 100 ore) de functionare la volum mediu. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj a boxelor”, sunetul va fi la inceput mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce boxele vor functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate. Exista boxe care necesita un „rodaj” mai amplu de minim 300 de ore mai ales in cazul celor care au difuzoare de kevlar, carbon sau alte materiale de acest tip. Boxele care se „rodeaza” cel mai repede sunt cele care au difuzoare de celuloza.

- Pentru performante optime este necesar „rodarea” echipamentului, In functie de complexitatea componentelor din aparatul dumneavoastra acesta poate dura intre 30-200 ore.
- Rodajul se face la volum minim, fiind astfel suficient faptul ca acesta este alimentat corect conform manualului de utilizare la 220-230 Volti si trece semnal audio sau video dupa caz prin el.
- Echipamentul supus „rodajului” va ajunge sa functioneze in parametrii recomandati de producator, dupa perioada mai sus mentionata. In aceasta perioada de timp, de “rodaj”, sunetul va fi la inceput ceva mai artificial, bass-ul nu va fi inca controlat, inaltele rigide iar vocile usor retinute, pe masura ce echipamentul va functiona, veti remarca cum bas-ul devine mai controlat, mai prezent si mai voluminos, vocile si sunetele medii devin naturale si mai echilibrate, iar inaltele devin rafinate si detaliate.
- In ceea ce priveste echipamentul video precum videoproiector, TV, media player, blueray player, necesita un "rodaj" de cel putin 50 de ore. Lipsa acestuia nu va poate oferi maxim de performanta. "Rodajul" se efectueaza prin simpla utilizare a acestuia, intr-un mod conform specificatiilor mentionate de producator.

- Pentru performante optime este necesara „rodarea” cablurilor, In functie de complexitatea conductorului folosit, cat si geometriei acestuia, „rodajul” poate dura intre 30-100 ore.
